CHARLOTTE CURTIS

Charlotte is a specialist property litigator, who regularly deals with commercial landlord and tenant disputes including forfeiture, dilapidations, service charge issues and breaches of covenant. Charlotte advises both landlords and tenants in respect of lease renewals and has developed a particular expertise in advising clients who are involved in contested lease renewals. As well as providing advice on landlord and tenant matters, Charlotte also advises developers and individuals on a wide range of land issues including boundary disputes, restrictive covenants, overage, nuisance and rights of way. Along with a broad technical knowledge, Charlotte has extensive practical experience and represents clients at the Property Tribunal, County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
As well as acting on discrete property litigation matters, Charlotte works with the property team advising on any contentious issues which may arise during a transactionCharlotte is a specialist property litigator and joined in November 2013.

Charlotte is experienced in all aspects of contentious property and has a particular specialism in commercial landlord and tenant and residential property management work. Charlotte acts for landlords, property investors, management companies and private clients, providing strategic advice which is pragmatic and cost effective.

As well as acting on discrete property litigation matters, Charlotte works with the property team advising on any contentious issues which may arise during a transaction.
