Our Employment Team supports corporate and commercial clients achieve outcomes aligned to their commercial objectives.

Our Employment Team works with companies and employers, navigating them through employment regulation and law, by identifying commercial solutions to complex or high-risk challenges, such as staff transfers, reorganisations and disputes.

We focus on supporting privately owned companies and corporate employers who are:

  • embarking upon a process of workforce change or transformation
  • planning rapid growth or a change of ownership
  • facing challenging or disruptive people related issues
  • responding to employment disputes or employment tribunal litigation

Our aim is to navigate businesses through the landscape of employment regulation and legal risk in which they operate, in a way that best suits their aims, needs and resources – so they can achieve the outcomes they need with legally robust or calculated solutions, allowing them to focus on their core business and ultimately supporting their bottom line performance.

Areas we regularly advise on include: Employment disputes and defending employment tribunal claims; employment regulation including employment status, working time, holiday pay, data protection and national minimum wage; organisational change projects, restructuring, collective redundancies and changes to terms and conditions of employment; outsourcing, staff transfers, corporate transaction support and TUPE; board level and senior management restructuring; employment considerations in business recovery or insolvency situations; and industrial relations.
